Objective: Provide administrative support to Executive Director and other staff to insure smooth day-­‐to-­‐day operations of Neighbors Link Stamford’s community center.

Position Summary: The office assistant’s principal responsibilities are to provide a welcoming and efficient front office operation, interacting

Domus, seeks a Bi-lingual Family Advocate to work in the Stamford Public Schools to work with youth and their families to achieve academic and social/emotional success. In this elementary school-based position, you will conduct home visits, implement family development plans, meet with young people regularly to help them resolve their struggles, develop action plans with young people, and connect youth and their families with resources in the community.

Required: BA/BS, fluent in Spanish, excellent communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with young people and their families, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, ability to work independently and represent Domus in the community, comfort working with families directly in their homes as well as working with young people who may have challenging behaviors.

A Waterside business owner is looking to fill two part -time positions:

Pet Care Associate

Seeking a part-time person to work 3:30pm to 7:00pm Tuesday through Thursday and 11:00am to 7:00pm on Friday at our Stamford location.  Candidate must be a reliable, honest and upbeat person that loves to work with dogs.

The pay is $9 per hour.  Responsibilities include watching and managing the group of 10 to 20 dogs, cleaning the facility (spot cleaning immediate messes and weekly thorough cleaning).  The cleaning of the facility is shared between all employees.  And customer service as the dogs are dropped off and picked up by their owners, all employees will be in client contact each day.  No experience necessary, owner will completely train any new person to be able to manage the dogs and proper cleaning needs.

Pet Transporter Associate

Seeking a part-time person to work 9:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Stamford.  This person will need to transport dogs to our boarding facility in upstate Connecticut as needed, so a reliable car and a good driving record is needed.  Candidate must be a reliable, honest and upbeat person that loves to work with dogs.

The pay is $9 per hour.  The transportation person does need their own vehicle, they of course need the insurance required for the car to be registered, but the business carries “non-owned vehicle” insurance which would cover someone using their personal vehicle for business use.

  • Floors: Follows detailed protocols for cleaning and disinfecting; uses vacuum, auto-scrubber, and correctly diluted chemicals, dust mop, hand scrubbers, and mops as appropriate.
  • Kitchenettes: Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. Replenishes break room supplies.
  • Trash: Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area, separating trash from recycling. Checks garbage cans in clinical and client areas, as well as restrooms and office areas.
